There are just so many blogs out there in cyber space, it can be a minefield if you’re not entirely sure what you want to read or even what you like. Below are some of my favourite blogs, written by really smart, savvy, funny women with brilliant takes on fashion and life (suitable for all sizes, shapes and budgets).
Sequins & Nappies – yummy mummy Rachelle blogs about “fashion, beauty and laughter in the chaos that is motherhood”
Girls of a Certain Age – a blog written by the founding editor of Lucky magazine, Kim France. Interesting links, witty dialogue and great fashion, she has a penchant for Zero + Maria Cornejo
GabiFresh – the gorgeously curvy Gabi hopes to “inspire others to take risks and have fun with clothing regardless of their size”
Nicolette Mason – Nicolette has some amazing accessories but best of all, her musings on size in culture and fashion are insightful and razor-sharp
Sea of Shoes – Texan Jane Aldridge is passionate about beautiful shoes (I would love to see her shoe cupboard!) and quirky vintage pieces
Now Smell This – my go-to blog for all things fragrance-related. Wonderfully descriptive perfume reviews
Kafkaesque – another fragrance blog I defer to for insightful, interesting fragrance reviews
Go Fug Yourself – acerbic, observant and wonderfully witty. This is my daily fix of (often crazy) celebrity fashion with a side serving of humour
The Dress Down – Irish blogger Carolyn casts a “sometimes critical, sometimes adoring eye over the business of celebrity and fashion” and this couldn’t be a more hilarious and shrewd look at the duality of fashion and celebrity
Red Carpet Fashion Awards – this easy to use site, updated daily, is fantastic for perusing the fashion choices of your favourite celebrities. It is great for pointing you in the right direction should you wish to buy an item you have seen on a celeb!
People Style Watch – get up-to-the-minute access on what’s happening in celebrity fashion land, vote for your favourite red carpet looks and shop the best beauty products
